Google Drive will alert users about suspicious files with a warning banner.

If a user opens a potentially harmful file in Google Drive; Drive will automatically display a warning banner.

Google aims to protect the user and their organization from malware, phishing and ransomware. Further, these warnings are already available when opening Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drawings. 

According to Google this feature will be available to all users within 15 days.
