If you see a green 💚 flying around it means someone liked your status and it is now possible within WhatsApp.

Enhanced inline typing indicator for WhatsApp
Availability: For some WhatsApp Android beta testers.
More realistic Avatars for WhatsApp and other Meta platform
WhatsApp Avatars are getting uglier just like you with more realistic look with more control over how it should look.
Availability: Random users are seeing it around Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta
Chat Lists for WhatsApp
WhatsApp is experimenting with the ability to create your own chat filters called “Lists”.
Entry points:
- Pressing the + icon in chat filters
- Long pressing the list
- Settings > Lists
- Chat settings add to list
Availability: Officially announced and widely available.
Camera effects toggle
WhatsApp added a new privacy settings option called “Allow camera effects” to let users turn on/off camera effects.
Availability: Widely rolling out to all users.
Mention your contacts in WhatsApp status
WhatsApp users can now mention their contacts privately in statuses and this will be only visible to the mentioned people and they can also decided to re-post if they want.
Availability: Available to everyone.
Status reminder notifications
WhatsApp will soon remind you if your boy friend posted a status with this new notification toggle.
Availability: Tested among WhatsApp android beta testers.
